Aircraft Fit

Cessna 150 or Cessna 172?

The two-seat Cessna 150 can reduce hourly cost for students who fit comfortably and want focused private, commercial, CFI, or time-building work. The four-seat Cessna 172 adds useful load, cabin room, and IFR-capable options for instrument and cross-country training.

Aircraft choice depends on fit, useful load, location, availability, avionics, and the lesson objective. Read the full Cessna 150 vs Cessna 172 comparison, then use the Cost Planner and detailed prices.
