To join and remain in the Accelerated Program, dedicate at least 20 hours of availability and five hours of on-campus learning each week. These are minimums; you can commit more.
Availability is scheduling room; actual flight hours vary. You can also book your own lessons, including outside those windows.
Maintain at least 20 hours of weekly availability, including five during early-morning or evening periods. Be able to report within three hours of notice during those windows. Pilot Rise may schedule lessons within submitted availability without additional confirmation.
Your availability gives us room to schedule; actual flight hours vary. You can also book your own lessons, including outside your submitted availability. Keep your availability current with your instructor or student services.
Maintain at least 90% attendance, excluding approved absences and weather, maintenance, or school-initiated cancellations.
Spend at least five hours each week at Pilot Rise outside regularly scheduled flight training. Use that time for observation flights, simulator practice, individual or group study, and other approved learning activities.
Prepare independently for lessons, maintain satisfactory course progress, and complete required milestones and course observation flights.
Your progress, schedule, and goals stay connected, reducing the coordination work instructors and student services would otherwise manage manually.
Your training windows and aircraft preferences connect directly to the schedule.
Matching openings and cancellations draw staff attention so they can help get you scheduled.
Skill grades, course milestones, and budget alerts help instructors see what needs attention.
Course-specific checklists and the checkride queue help staff coordinate your next step.
Instructors grade individual skills and knowledge areas from one to five. You can see your progress, and instructors can quickly identify what needs attention.
Lessons can adapt to your preparation, the weather, and available aircraft while keeping required standards and milestones in place.
Your availability and aircraft preferences appear directly on the schedule for staff. The system flags matching openings and cancellations so your instructor and student services can help you get scheduled.
Milestones use your training record and calendar to track your pace. Falling behind creates follow-up tasks for your instructor and chief instructor.
You can also compare course completion with the percentage of your budget used. Alerts help you and staff notice when spending gets ahead of progress.
Our course-specific checkride checklists were developed with input from designated pilot examiners.
Your instructor records the dates of qualifying logbook entries alongside the requirements. You can print the completed checklist for your examiner, making supporting records easier to find and helping catch paperwork issues before checkride day.
Our checkride queue helps staff coordinate examiner availability as you approach readiness. Priority does not guarantee an appointment and remains subject to your qualifications and examiner availability.

Exceptions include medical ineligibility, military deployment, significant family emergencies, necessary relocation, Pilot Rise’s inability to provide reasonable training opportunities, or management approval.
For financed students, the applicable financed-student termination fee replaces the accelerated fee. Both fees will not apply to the same withdrawal. No accelerated termination fee applies after completing the course checkride.
Material increases to an existing student’s accepted termination obligation require separate agreement.
Benefits may be suspended or ended if program requirements are not maintained. Upon withdrawal or removal, program benefits and discounts end. Students leaving the program may continue under standard training terms.
