Pilot Rise Launches Advanced Progress Tracking & AI-Powered Feedback System
At Pilot Rise, we believe that flight training should be just as advanced as the aircraft we fly. That’s why we’ve developed a proprietary training management system tailored specifically for flight students and instructors—designed to make every lesson more effective, personalized, and transparent.
Airline-Type Scoring, Made Simple
We use a 1-to-5 scale for every skill and knowledge item—just like the AQP programs used by major airlines. This allows instructors to track a student’s progress across a wide range of training elements, not just lessons. You’ll see scores for everything from "Use of Checklists" to "Power-On Stalls," helping identify strengths and target weak areas with precision.
Real-Time Feedback with Every Lesson
Each training entry includes instructor comments, trend tracking, and performance insights. Whether a student flies with the same instructor or switches occasionally, our system makes handoffs seamless. Instructors can instantly understand where a student stands, reducing repeat instruction and ensuring consistent progress.
Optional AI-Assisted Lesson Debriefs
What truly sets our system apart is its optional AI-assisted analysis. After each lesson, the instructor completes the official training record. If a student specifically chooses AI-assisted debriefs, AI can help prepare a supplemental summary—including tailored feedback, study recommendations, next steps, and motivational tips. The summary is clearly identified as AI-assisted and must be reviewed or approved by the instructor before it is delivered. The instructor’s comments and official training record remain authoritative.
Sample AI feedback might include:
- Focused advice on improving landings or radio communication
- Study resources targeted at recent performance gaps
- Scenario-based suggestions for better risk management or ADM
Students never have to use AI-assisted debriefs, and choosing not to use them does not limit access to an instructor or the official lesson feedback. This follows our broader human-first approach to AI in flight training: AI may assist, but a person stays responsible.
Flexible, Element-Based Design
Unlike rigid, lesson-based tracking systems, ours is built on training elements. This allows flexibility for weather delays, custom lesson flow, and students who learn at different paces. Whether you're a fast learner or need more time in specific areas, your training adapts to you—not the other way around.
Welcome to the Future of Flight Training
At Pilot Rise, we're leading the way with smarter tools that elevate instruction, simplify tracking, and support student success at every step.
