Checkout Flight Details:
This is a full VFR checkout for pilots who have not been checked out in our aircraft.
After scheduling, an instructor will contact you to confirm your reservation.
IFR checkout is available—please request it with your instructor.
Pricing
Checkout pricing is based on average checkout length (2.0h scheduled / ~1.5h flight). Billing is hourly for aircraft and instructor time.
- If the checkout runs shorter, unused balance is credited/refunded
- If it runs longer, you pay the difference

Limitations:
- Aircraft Range: Rentals must stay within 115 nm of T67 (unless approved)
- C150: 200 lb max passenger weight (185 lb or less preferred)
- C172: 575 lb total passenger limit
- Flights may be rescheduled for weather, maintenance, or checkrides
- Cancel with 30+ hours’ notice (same-day cancellations may incur a fee)
- Purpose: Must be time-building toward a certificate or actively training with us

Select Your Aircraft
If you want to get checked out for both Cessnas, the second checkout is much shorter and has fewer requirements. Keep in mind, that we do impose some limitations on the rental use of our Cessnas since they are used for flight training. Review our policies here.
The Mooney checkout is a bit more intensive since it is a complex aircraft. If you want to fly somewhere far and fast, the Mooney is the best choice.
Cessna 150
This is our most affordable rental option, and it is a great time-builder. However, it is weight-limited and has a much smaller cockpit than our Cessna 172s.
Cessna 172
Cessna 172s are a perfect option for anyone. They are still affordable relative to other aircraft, and they are more comfortable.
Mooney M20F
The Mooney is designed to be fast and get you places.
Insurance requires a 10-hour checkout (5h if you have +25h of complex time). This is only available to pilots with more than 100 hours total time, however, insurance may make some exceptions.
